King of the Electric Blues  The blues are underrepresented on this list, given the amount of blues I have in the collection. I don't have a really good reason for that, except to say that I don't  feel like I have a good enough grasp of the genre to highly recommend someone like Lightning Hopkins, who is one of my favorites, but I'm not sure he would appeal to you. However, like Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters is a gimme. Also, he gets credit for being the only old blues great besides B.B. King that I've seen live.
